By registering for, attending or participating in the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

Where a participant is below 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian registering or consenting on their behalf agrees to these Terms on behalf of the minor.

3.5 The Organiser may request proof of identity, age or registration where reasonably necessary.

3.6 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration where information supplied is materially inaccurate, fraudulent or incomplete.

4.4 Registration fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where the Organiser expressly determines otherwise.

4.5 Where an Event cancellation or postponement results in a refund or alternative arrangement, the Organiser will communicate the applicable procedure to registered participants.

5. Participant Health and Fitness

5.1 Participation in a walk, run or half marathon involves physical exertion and inherent risks.

5.2 Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating in their selected category.

5.3 Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate medical advice before participating, particularly if they have a medical condition, are recovering from illness or injury, or have concerns about their ability to undertake physical exercise.

5.4 Registration and participation in the Event do not constitute medical clearance or medical advice from the Organiser.

5.5 Participants should listen to their bodies and stop participating if they experience pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, weakness, unusual discomfort or any other concerning symptoms.

5.6 The Organiser may, in the interest of participant safety, prevent or discontinue a participant’s participation where medical personnel or Event officials reasonably believe that continued participation may pose a significant health or safety risk.

6. Health Screening and Medical Services

9.4 The Organiser may change, shorten, suspend or close portions of the route where required for safety, traffic management, weather, security or regulatory reasons.

10. Children and Participants Under 18

10.1 A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for a participant below 18 years.

10.2 The parent or legal guardian confirms that the minor has permission to participate and agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf.

11.3 Subject to applicable law, the Organiser may use such material for legitimate Event-related purposes, including publicity, education, documentation, reporting, fundraising and future Event promotion, without payment to the participant.

13. Event Cancellation, Postponement or Modification

13.1 The Organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify, suspend or cancel the Event where circumstances make it necessary or unsafe to proceed.

13.2 Such circumstances may include severe weather, public-health concerns, security threats, government or regulatory directives, venue unavailability, road or traffic restrictions, natural disasters, emergencies or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.

13.3 Where the Event is postponed or substantially modified, the Organiser will communicate the revised arrangements to registered participants through available official communication channels.

13.4 Where the Event is cancelled, the Organiser will communicate any applicable refund, transfer or alternative arrangements. Any transaction, payment-processing or third-party costs may be treated in accordance with the relevant payment provider’s terms and applicable law.
